Service Solutions was established in
1995 in response to the growing demand to meet
the requirement for Portable Appliance Testing as specified
by The Electricity at Work Regulations (1989). The company has
grown steadily since that time adding many ‘high street’ names with several
hundred employees to it’s customer base, as well as many much smaller
companies and sole traders. All have recognised our high standards of fairness
and professionalism in carrying out the work and customer satisfaction, and
return to us year after year.
The family run company is operated by Managing Director Stephen Hutchinson,
Stephen is a qualified electrical & electronic engineer professionally registered with
The Engineering Council, The Institute of Engineering & Technology (formerly known
as the IEE, The Institute of Electrical Engineers), and The Chartered Management
Institute. All of these personal credentials are carried through to help to deliver the
very high technical and ethical business values which we aspire to deliver as a
company to every one of our customers every time.
For those organisations involved with the care of vulnerable children e.g. nurseries
or adults e.g. mental or social health care, you are assured that all of our field staff
are CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) cleared, giving you peace of mind when visitors
are allowed into your premises.
